PAVE is a six-session program designed to help Louisiana veterans and military-connected entrepreneurs move from idea to action through guided training, one-on-one support and a culminating showcase event.

How the Program Works

PAVE follows a structured, step-by-step approach across six sessions to guide your progress.

• Guided Training Sessions
  Participate in six focused sessions that break down essential business topics and support consistent progress.
• One-on-One Support
  Work with LSBDC consultants to apply what you’re learning directly to your business between sessions.

Connect, Present and Move Forward

At the conclusion of the program, participants present their business, connect with resource partners and engage with fellow entrepreneurs.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the program, participants work through the key components of building a complete business plan and preparing to move their business forward.

   Clarify your business concept, business model, goals and long-term direction.
2. Understanding Your Market and Customers
   Identify your target market, better understand customer needs and learn how to position your business effectively.
3. Marketing and Customer Engagement
   Develop messaging and marketing approaches that help you communicate your value and reach the right audience.
4. Financial Awareness and Planning
   Apply what you learn by developing your budget, financial projections and other key financial components of your business plan.
5. Operations and Business Structure
   Explore the day-to-day systems, organization and operational decisions that support a sustainable business.
6. Presenting Your Business Plan
   Build confidence in explaining your business, sharing your vision and presenting your plan to customers, partners, lenders and stakeholders.
